Gloria has served as Associate Pastor at Trinity United Methodist Church, Lapeer since July 1, 2005. Having grown up in Lapeer County, she feels like she has come home. She has 5 children and (almost) 9 grandchildren living all across the United States.
Gloria has been a committed Christian for many years. Her call to ministry came early in life, but it took many years of searching before she understood that as a woman she could answer the call to ordained ministry. She served on these conference committees: Council on Ministries, Board of global Ministries, Program Committee, and has just been elected to serve on the Nominations Committee. Gloria has also served on district committees in the Port Huron and Flint Districts, including being a member of the District Committee on Ordained Ministry at this time.
Gloria's special interests are Faith, people, quilting, reading, gardening and grandchildren. |
